Payment for sessions:
Proof of Payment is REQUIRED to confirm the booking of the FIRST SESSION, as well as all other sessions following the first session. All clients to pay the first session via EFT and send proof of payment to confirm the booking of the first session at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled session time. After the first session any alternative method of payment, such as cash payments, must be discussed and agreed upon with LS Counselling to confirm the scheduling of all follow-up sessions.

24 Hour cancellation policy, the therapy hour and costs involved:
Full session fee to be paid if cancellation is not received before 24 hours of the scheduled session. As counselling professionals we schedule 1 hour sessions with clients (sometimes more). We treasure our time with each client and time is what is needed to deal with the presenting issues. The result is that in counselling or therapy we cannot “fill the gap” or quickly reschedule sessions on the spot. A late cancellation is an hour lost for a potential client and for the service provider (counsellor).

Cash Practice and Medical Aid:
After payment and completion of each session, the client will receive a statement via email and can then send the statement to the relevant medical aid to be reimbursed for the session. Please check with your medical aid regarding details for reimbursements for services rendered by Registered Counsellors. LS Counselling does not deal directly with medical aids and clients have to submit counselling statements to the medical aid in cases where clients are looking for medical aid reimbursements for counselling.
